Z2 will be available on Sony’s online store this summer

However, fans of the Z1 will still have to wait for some good news

The Xperia Z2 is certainly a job done well by Sony and it represents a powerful yet stylish handset but unfortunately for the US citizens, those who would want to have the classy handset in their hands would either hope to get it in person or from a contract which could be mastered out of luck. Because Sony itself has announced that the phone will not be coming to the shelves in the US retail stores anytime in the near future. And this also goes for the miniature version Z1 compact.

This has certainly been a great disappointment and it is definitely a bummer considering that Sony’s Z2 has received pretty consistent acclaim so far. But this good news has followed with some hope at least. An unlocked version of the Z2 will be available on Sony’s online store in the Summer but there has been no news for the Z1 and those who badly want the handset might need to cook up some other alternative.
