Rita Ora surprised her fans by coming up on stage alongside Iggy Azalea awhile back. The two sang their joint song Black Widow out loud. And the passion with which they produced the notes and lyrics caused the crowd to go stark raving mad.
Iggy had already given a hint to the concert attenders that a surprise personality would be joining her. There was a short segment of the song “Problem” which Iggy sang in collaboration with Ariana Grande before the real stuff began.
Rita was pretty happy to sing along with Iggy and later on Iggy took on the reins of the performance on a solo basis. Besides twerking, the two also flung T-shirts into the audience and gave a marvelous display of girl power a la Spice Girls.
According to Entertainmentwise, “The blonde Aussie was joined by some super sexy backing dancers on stage throughout the gig and it was all about that girl power this evening, as they joined forces to shoot t-shirts into the audience, as well as putting Miley Cyrus to shame in the twerking department.”
Iggy even did a version of her song “Pu$$y” by swinging and dancing around a stripper’s pole. She also sang “Work” and “Fancy” which brought the house down.
Meanwhile, trouble has been brewing for Iggy and she is determined to fight back. She is suing an older man named Maurice Williams who lied to her sometime in the past about owning an oil company.
He lived in her home for awhile and according to Iggy he stole personal information and songs from Iggy’s computer. Among the things Maurice has custody of /4/be included a sex tape of Iggy doing some pretty explicit stuff.
According to the lawsuit, “Williams downloaded the entire contents of Azalea’s personal computer,” including unreleased master recordings. Iggy’s lawyers have filed a case against him in court and are seeking $3.6 million in damages.
According to THR, “Azalea’s lawsuit, the music derived from her unreleased masters and constitutes violations of her copyright, trademark, name and likeness. She’s also alleging conversion of stolen information from her computer.”
Of course, there was a time when Maurice was Iggy’s boyfriend but that was then and this is now! This is a perfect example of fame being a pain in the neck. Iggy’s past has literally come back to haunt her and it seems this time it won’t give up without exacting its pound of flesh.
We hope Iggy manages to stop the sex tape from leaking since it would result in a lot of negative publicity for the rapper.

She wanted to go where the whole scene was happening and that was no place other than the US of A. Iggy would later on change her name to the present epithet. She borrowed the “Iggy” from the pet name of her dog and the “Azalea” from the street where her family used to live. In the beginning everyone scoffed at her rapping efforts. But Iggy was bigger than her ego and so she took it all with a grain of salt. Soon enough the laughing crowd fell silent when she broke out in the open with hit songs.

To this day, Iggy raps in a southern accent which she picked up during her stints in Miami and Atlanta. She has virtually left behind her Aussie accent and adopted this requirement for all rappers.
