Sony clearly implies that Xperia Z3 is better
Looks like everyone has been after Apple since they introduced the iPhone 6 and this time eyes have been on its protruding camera which was seen with the leaked pictures of the iPhone 6. However, this camera’s Photoshop was captured with Sony’s clever eyes and they have posted a recent ad on their Facebook page which aims to jab directly at Apple and their tagline goes like “the only thing that sticks out with the Xperia Z3 camera is its features…”
Sony is placing its Xperia Z3 next to the iPhone 6 but the phone is slightly thicker than its Apple counterpart but just by a hair; Sony’s new offering measures 7.3mm thick as opposed to 6.9mm thickness of the iPhone 6. But when it comes to camera we know that Sony is most likely to become the winner because Apple has always been conservative with their cameras. For obvious reasons, Sony sports a larger sensor (1/2.3″ vs. 1/3″), a large 3,100mAh battery and waterproofing (IP68) and all this explains the slightly thicker measurement of the phone.
The smaller version of the phone coming in as the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is thicker than both the phones and measures 8.6mm however it comes with the same camera as the Z3, same water-resistance rating and amazing battery life.
