CES 2015: JINS MEME Sensing Eyewear

a new wearable device called JINS MEME will be presented at the CES 2015.

JINS MEME is going to be the world’s first sensing eyewear that has been developed to ‘see my’ concept. JINS has a three point eye potential sensor that was originally developed as it is patented of glasses, drowsiness and concentration.

JINS will be present at the CES 2105 where it has announced to display this new technology of it’s from the 6th to the 9th of January at Tech West zone, Sands Expo level 2, Las Vegas. The company will be in the Health and Wellness category at the booth number 72921.

The main things that the JINS will be exhibiting at the CES 2015 include JINS MEME, eye potential sensing experience demonstration, an experience demonstration by six axis sensor, JINS MEME of fitting and functional description and an academic research for JINS MEME ‘Academic Pack’ experience demonstration. So anyone interested in what JINS has to offer at its exhibition should not miss the CES 2015.

These new glasses by JIN can tell whether you are fatigued or not. Even more the new glasses can also measure your concentration levels and can be very useful in alerting drivers. Another exciting feature of these glasses is that users can use it to navigate their smartphones simply by looking left or right.

The device is said to weigh only 36 grams and also contains a three axis accelerometer which helps the users to know how many steps they have walked or how many calories they have burned. The device is going to have six axis motion tracking sensors that will be built into the frame. The glasses can be paired with the smartphone app using Bluetooth 4.0 and this makes it possible to assess all information which includes real time statistics.

The devices are also said to contain small metallic electrooculography (EOG) sensors in the bridge, nose pads and the cars that rest on the nose. Hitoshi Tanaka the president of JIN stated in a press conference recently that previously glasses were only used to see the outside world but now they can also be used to see what is happening in the inside. He explained that the company was really excited about its new wearable device.

JINS is a Japanese eyewear retail company which has over 270 eyewear stores in Japan and 30 in China. Now the company is introducing MEME at the CES 2015 which is the company’s new wearable device.
