Rapper Nelly will host this year’s Playboy Super Bowl party. It is his second time to host the event.
Nelly is the host of this year’s Playboy Super Bowl party.
The Arizona Republic’s Megan Finnerty broke the news on Jan. 14. The venue of the Playboy Super Bowl party is the W Scottsdale Hotel and Residences. Music will be provided by DJ duo the Captains of Industry.
This is Nelly’s second time to host the event, which is expected to draw around 1,200 guests, per The Arizona Republic.
Finnerty describes Nelly’s appeal to music lovers:
“Nelly’s hits include ‘Country Gram/3/and ‘Ride Wit Me’ (2000) and ‘Hot in Herre’ and ‘Air Force Ones’ (2002). He is one of those musicians whose songs you know, even if you don’t realize you know them, and whose guest appearances you love, even if you forgot about them because you were still in college that last time you thought of him.”
Nelly was in Australia on a headline tour last week, per Daily Mail Australia’s Neil Griffiths (via DailyMail.co.uk). He was spotted watching the Brisbane International Men’s Final between Roger Federer and Milos Raonic with his girlfriend Shantel Jackson and a bodyguard at the Pat Rafter Arena on Jan. 11.
The Playboy Super Bowl party will be on Jan. 30. Tickets can be purchased at wscottsdaletickets.com.
