Two weeks ago Newcastle Brown Ale launched a call to action video featuring comedian Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) to announce the Newcastle‘s Band of Brands initiative. Newcastle Band of Brand calls other brands to come together and contribute to afford a Super Bowl Ad.
The Newcastle Brown Ale Band of Brand campaign is aiming to find 20 to 30 brands raise money making a Newcastle Super Bowl ad that will air online and in some local markets. The Band of Brand supporters will get their logo and message featured in the Newcastle Super Bowl ad made by advertising agency Droga5.
A new video staring comedian Aubrey Plaza continues to call on brands to join the Newcastle Band of Brands. Aubrey continues her funny sarcastic tone. Watch the funny video below.
Obviously this is more a marketing stunt than a sincere call to action, but there are already the first brands have already joined the Newcastle Band of Brands.
The list includes Sharper Image, Boost Mobile, McClures Pickels, Beanitos and Armstrong Floors.
