The star of the show was injured while in Australia and had to return to the United States for surgery.
The actor injured his hand over the weekend when he was in Australia. An Insider told The Wrap that he was in Australia for the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales when he got injured and is now returning to America. Production has taken a minimal impact.
A spokesperson from the movie told The Wrap that the movie release date is still unchanged and it will release on 7th July 2017. The movie production began last month and it will finish before or in the summer.
The directors Espen and Joachim are thrilled about directing the movie. The film will be produced at the Village Roadshow Studios and on some locations in Queensland, Australia. Johnny Depp will be starring in the movie alongside Javier Bardem, Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites and Golshifteh Farahani.
And some of the returning cast members include Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa, Stephen Graham as Scrum, and Kevin McNally as Joshamee Gibbs. In this movie, Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill fortune blowing towards him as dead ghost pirates are led by Captain Salazar as he escapes from Devil’s Triangle.
Captain Salazar vows that he would kill every pirate at sea. Jack Sparrow’s only hope for survival lies in seeking the Trident of Poseidon. This artifact gives the possessor total control over the seas.
Jerry Bruckheimer will be producing the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Jeff Nathanson is the writer of this movie whereas executive producers include Chad Oman, Brigham Taylor and Joe Caracciolo.
Moreover, a man dressed up as Jack Sparrow tried to enter Clubhouse Drive. He was inspected by a security guard as he produced a knife. He then started to run towards a bush land. The police and dog squad are currently looking for the man. They are looking for CCTV footage to determine the identity of the man.
Local Police also issued a picture of the man dressed up like pirate Jack Sparrow. Nine News Brisbane tweeted that Johnny Depp is on his way back to American and also posted picture of the pirate who was charged over for this incident.
