Amanda Bynes on a Shop-lifting Spree

Amanda Bynes has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. First for her emotional break down in public and then her drug addiction. She recently faced a court room trial for a glass bong incident. She promised the court that she would get counseling. I would say she didn’t. 

Today, she went for shopping that soon turned into a shop-lifting spree. The police were involved in the Barneys incident. Amanda was in the New York branch of Barneys where she walked out of the store with a two hundred dollars’ hat on her head. She did not pay for it. 

The security guards stopped her and brought her back in the store and called the police. Amanda returned the hat without any issues. In her defense, Amanda said that she was annoyed by a couple who were trying to take a picture of her. 

She only donned on the hand to avoid them and walked out of the store to grab her handbag from the car. What were you doing in the store without the money anyway? Make a story someone would believe Amanda. 

Barneys made her sign a no-trespass affidavit which bans her from entering the store forever more. In return they did not press charges against her and when the police got to Barneys there was no Amanda to arrest.

This was not Amanda’s first pinch today. Just an hour before she walked out of Barneys with the hat on her head, she did the same with a hundred and twenty eight dollars red shirt between her arms from Pookie and Sebastian-a woman dress store. 

The employees at the store followed her because according to them she looked like a ‘half naked, homeless crackhead’ and they did not recognize her at first. When they tried to stop her from taking the shirt she covered the bill with her credit card. 

We can assume that she knew what she was doing and she knew it was wrong. With no protestations to accusations, she was very cooperative. She might be trying to avoid jail but to do that she has to stop shop-lifting.
