Amazon offers for a limited time the Fire TV for $15 off. You only pay $84 for the TV streaming box. The best-selling streaming device is though still Google Chromecast.

As reported in the morning, Amazon has a limited time deal on the Amazon Fire TV. You save $15. The powerful streaming box with voice search is now selling for $84. The new low price is though no match for the best-selling streaming device on Amazon.

The Google Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Player sells for $34.64. The Roku 3 Streaming Media player is on third place and the Apple TV box is also the 4th best-selling streaming box on Amazon. It is also on sale for $92.98.

The Amazon Fire TV box has several features the other streaming gadgets do not have. Besides the current low price you also get a 30 day free trial of Prime with the purchase.

The Amazon Fire TV box streams not only Amazon Instant Video. It also supports Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube.com, low-cost movie rentals, music, and much more.

Amazon Fire TV’s Voice Remote has a built-in mic so you can instantly search TV shows, movies, actors, and genres using just your voice—no more typing with your remote to find what you want. Voice search is supported for the entirety of Amazon’s video, app, and game catalog, plus for Hulu Plus, Crackle, Vevo and Showtime Anytime.

Amazon says that the Fire TV has a quad-core processor with 3x the processing power of Apple TV and Roku, a dedicated Adreno 320 graphics engine, and 2 GB of memory – 4x that of Apple TV, Roku, and Chromecast.

When Amazon launched the Fire TV back in Spring it hired Gary Busey to do the first Fire TV commercial. Watch the weird ad below.
