The Apple Watch is certainly going to be a game changer when it comes to smartwatches. Apple CEO Tim Cook released the news that the Apple Watch will be coming out in April. Cook says that the apps that will come with the watch will be very good and ones that consumers will basically be salivating over. The Android Wear has a 32 bit processor and runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop platform. The Apple Watch on the other hand will be driven on a specifically designed Watch OS by Apple and will be compatible with all iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 devices. While that /4/be a drawback to some, overall by the looks of it the Apple Watch should be able to topple the Android Wear. For that sheer reason, the Apple Watch will be the watermark when it comes to smartwatches. The only thing that will stunt the growth and progress of the Apple Watch is if their apps do not catch on.
With the recent release of the record earnings numbers by Apple, the company was also able to reveal that sales all over the world have increased. China has been a big reason for that. This is a sure sign that the Apple Watch will have strong sales during its infancy when it starts selling on the consumer market. Apple and their innovative engineers and app developers will without a doubt be able to show that the Apple Watch will be the top device when it comes to smartwatches.
