The pop star will be detained and /4/face imprisonment if convicted.

The Argentine judge has issued arrest warrant for Justin Bieber for his inability to respond to the summons sent to him back in 2013. According to The Guardian, the summons was issued in connection with 2013 nightclub incident in Buenos Aires in which Bieber reportedly ordered his bodyguards to lash out a local photographer who was trying to take a picture of the pop star without his consent.

Judge Alberto Julio Banos released a resolution on Friday and ordered for the “immediate detention” of Justin Bieber and his two bodyguards Hugo Alcides Hensy and Terrence Reche Smalls on a charge of causing injuries.

If Justin Bieber declared guilty of the offense, he /4/be sent to the jail and imprisoned for anywhere one month to six years. But Bieber never went back to Argentina after the incident. Thus, never become a part of the police investigation. It is still unclear whether the arrest warrant is applicable outside Argentina or the relevant authorities will wait for Bieber to return to the country for its confinement.

But lawyer Matias Morla believes that arrest warrant issued by the Argentine court will forcibly bring Bieber back to the country. “Now we just need to wait for the police to find him and bring him,” Matias Morla said.

For us, this is a triumph against all those who said this case was a bluff and that we didn’t have anything”. Morla further stated. Few months ago, another local judge had issued orders for Bieber to appear in front of the court over the same accusation and also requested Argentina’s Interpol to provide assistance in this regard. But Justin Bieber ignored the orders and never appeared before the judge.

The 21 years old Justin Bieber often grabs headlines not only for his singing but also for various allegations. But none of them was as serious as he is facing this time around. Bieber reportedly has not responded to the recently issued arrest warrant.
