Ariana Grande: Big Sean defeats Jai Brooks

Ariana Grande has changed her boyfriend. 21-year-old “Problem” singer Grande has left her 19-year-old Jai Brooks split. And Ariana Grande has moved on from her previous beau to 26-year-old Big Sean who is a bit more mature.

Ariana herself described the reason for her change of plans as the immaturity of Jai. She wanted to try an elder specimen on for size. Big Sean was her partner in many musical ventures. 

Nothing like mixing business with pleasure…eh? On August 4, Twitter user @ArianaTodayNet posted a tweet with a pic of Ariana with Sean with the caption “Ariana Grande and Big Sean were seen at the movies last night.”

However, other sources confirmed that Ariana and Big Sean have a platonic relationship. They are reported to have been in touch with each other since the past three years or so.  

“They’ve been really great friends for the past three years,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com. “Her mom is like his mom. [The dating rumors are] totally not true.”

Big Sean has been edging his verses into her lyrics and thus supporting Ariana in a big way. But according to reports it is nothing more than a friendly dalliance.   

The fact is that Big Sean has already split up with Naya Rivera, 26. He is single and singles like to sin time after time to make up for lost time. Jai Brooks was too much of an introvert to suit Ariana. 

“Jai was too self-involved,” a source close to Ariana previously revealed. “And yes, she’s a total workhorse. All she wants to do is make meaningful music, [and to] focus also on family and helping her mom and Nona get through her grandpa’s death.”

Big Sean also posted a photo of himself with Ariana’s dog on his Instagram. He captioned the photo: “Ophelia’s a pretty girl.”

Ariana will probably be much happier with a workaholic like Big Sean. She too likes to churn out hit song after hit song. There was the chaotic love addiction song “Problem” and then came “Bang Bang”. 

But fear not, Ariana hasn’t sung her last song just yet. She has a new one coming out titled “Love Me Harder”. It is part of her album titled My Everything and was created with a little help from Max Martin. 

A teaser trailer of the new song has already come out. It is 15 seconds in length and will slake the thirst of many an Ariana fan till the end of August when the album will finally end up on the shelves of music stores.

Grande has reportedly preferred the current album to her previous one. “I never thought I’d be able to say this, but I love this [album] five times as much as I love ‘Yours Truly,'” Grande told Billboard. “They’re different, but I love this one so much more.”
