Britney Spears rescheduled her shows for the week after accidentally hurting her ankle during a concert. She took an unlucky fall that hurt her so much so that her personal physician advised her bed rest for awhile.

Britney Spears hurt her ankle after falling down onstage at her live Las Vegas show. Her doctor told her to rest for some time so she cancelled her shows for today and tomorrow.

In fact, she will be in bed and recuperating from the sprained ankle for a week’s duration. She later on went online and shared her feelings about the whole accident and convalescence with her fans on Twitter and Instagram.

The songstress and pop siren said that her fans’ kind wishes and words meant everything to her and that she was indebted to them for their concern for her health. It was during her performance of the song “(You Drive Me) Crazy” that she suddenly fell down and twisted one of her ankles.

Britney put on a good show like her mentor Madonna who was involved in a similar situation onstage awhile back. She sang the whole song while seated and later on was helped by her staff and was soon given medical assistance. She hollered the words “sorry about that” to her crazed fans when the accident took place.

Britney said on social online media that she was not badly injured and that it was just a slight shock she had undergone. She further thanked her fans for their sentimental wishes for her good health.

The “Toxic” singer has been known for some controversial things in the past like shaving off her hair. But Britney is so over that adolescent phase. She is a mature and sober pop queen today. And that is the way it should be too.
