Britney Spears, the beautiful 32 year old singer’s show “Piece of Me” opened at Planet Hollywood in December 2013 and because of her show the hotel’s profits increased by $20 million.
In December 2013, the famous singer Britney Spears opened her show ‘Piece of Me’ at Planet Hollywood. Originally the show was to last for two years, but late in September both Britney and Planet Hollywood decided to extend their arrangement for another two years.
The hotel offered a $12 million deal to Spears in order for her to extend her residency till 2017. And the major reason behind this action was Planet Hollywood profits which increased by $20 million because of her show, according to a financial insider.
The amazing singer seemed very delighted and excited about the news as she was emerging from a saloon on Wednesday in Los Angeles. She was wearing a sleeveless printed top and over it she was wearing an orange cardigan.
The top had “Surf All Day Dance All Night” emblazoned in front of it. Spears seemed to be elated about the fact that she is one of the major reasons behind her host’s recent success.
Her first show was on December 27th in 2013, and the remaining 49 followed. Every show was sold out before the opening night of the first concert. The series of concerts were to last for 2 years.
But recently on the show “Good Morning Britain,” she told her fans that she has extended the deal for another two years. This addition of more than 30 dates is going to boost the hotel profits by almost $30 million in just 24 months.
She informed the host Richard Arnold that she is very excited about the news and she is really enjoying living in Vegas.
She said “I’m very excited! Being based in Vegas and having one show that you just keep going back to and the consistency of that is really grounding and really cool.”
In addition to this, she said that it is really easy to manage. The orthodox way of touring was very hectic for her and she wonders, how she was able to manage it all. She said “How did I even do it? Going to a different city every day.”
