French gadget company known for their cool consumer drones has partnered with Austrian art figure Conchita Wurst aka the Bearded Lady.
French high-tech company started out as a Bluetooth gadget maker, but is now big into drones. Their first drone, the famous Parrot AR.Drone, is now joined by the Jumping Sumo rolling drone and the Rolling Spider flying drone. Up next comes the advanced camera drone Parrot Bebop.
Update: Parrot has released the Conchita Wurst photos. Chonchita is the muse for the Parrot Zik 2.0 headphones. Conchita Wurst worked with the acoustic designers of Parrot in order to create audio presets for the Zik 2.0. For this, she used the five bands parametric equalizer and the spatialization effects available on the Parrot Zik 2.0 App.
Last weekend, the founder of Parrot Henri Seydoux revealed on an Austrian society show another forward thinking initiative. Parrot signed Austrian art figure Conchita Wurst for a photo shoot promoting undisclosed Parrot gadgets. The photos have been made by famous fashion photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino. Conchita Wurst is the creation of Tom Neuwirth. He created the bearded lady as a statement for tolerance and acceptance. Conchita Wurst is a singer and won this year’s European Song Contest. Since then Conchita Wurst took Europe by storm. Next month she is performing in Paris in the famous Crazy Horse establishment. Her new single Heroes will also come out in November. Conchita Wurst’s big goal is to win a Grammy. So watch out America, the bearded Lady is coming.
