Portia de Rossi and Wife In Therapy After Fighting, Rehab, and Cheating Reports

We feel sorry for Ellen DeGeneres to have been subject to all those divorce rumors recently but it turns out that those weren’t completely rumors or even if they were, they did have a slight of hint of truth at their base. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi became targets of the rumors as their marriage took the turns for the worst after Portia’s rehab visit a few months ago. And though they two have remained quite silent on the matter, we are suspecting this silence has said a lot about the situation. This is because a few months ago, they both were quick to respond to the divorce rumors and instantly slammed them down however this time they are not retaliating at all.

According to the recent reports, their marriage had always been in a turmoil and there was constant arguing and fights and all this is what led to Portia’s initial rehab visit. The rumors of Portia’s extreme insecurity followed soon afterwards and the recent report from Touch Weekly claims that Portia still believes Ellen had an affair. According to a source, “Portia thinks that Ellen had an affair with one of their mutual friends right before Portia’s rehab stint in May.”

The couple has decided to give therapy a try, with the source adding, “It’s going to take a lot for Portia to trust Ellen again. They kept up with the therapy after Portia got out of rehab, but they still have a long way to go.” But even if Ellen had no affair and wasn’t at all involved with any cheating, there still remains a huge issue of Portia’s self esteem and insecurity.
