After Paul Walker’s death in a freak car accident in 2013 the producers were in a bit of a difficulty as to how to proceed with the release of Furious 7. Walker had already filmed a majority of the film scenes before his death but a few cut were required.

The studio ultimately decided to delay the release date of Furious 7 from the original date of July 2014 and hired Paul Walkers younger brothers to fill in for some scenes.
