Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton Separate

The couple had unconventional relationships and never got married. The reps for both celebrities said they are still good friends and co-parenting their children.

Tim Burton is known for his unique and eccentric style, in movies and in personal life. His direction has won acclaim all over the world. Helena Bonham Carter is an actress and a performer who stood next to him and wasn’t anything less in any way. She has given award winning performances and acclaimed roles; half of them which were created by Tim Burton.

The director and actress met each other on the sets of 2001 movie Planet of the Apes which became a worldwide hit. The other thing that happened after the movie was Burton-Carter coupling.

Together they were amazing. Whether they were a behind the scenes couple posing on the red carpet or collaborating together on the sets of various movies. They came off as a couple who understood and completed each other.

Soon, no Burton movie seemed complete without Helena. Those roles allowed Helena to push the envelope for Carter. She delivered some world class roles in the Burton’s movies including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Alice in Wonderland and Dark Shadows.

In 2010, reports surrounded the couple of Burton’s infidelity but Carter came to his rescue and spoke against the reports but that might have driven between the couple. Many people have questioned the living arrangements of the couple.

They live in two houses owned by both which is adjoined in the middle. Carter commented that it gave them both a trusting motion and the required space that allowed them to be more comfortable.

When a picture of Burton kissing a blonde came out in 2013, the couple might have hit an all time low because they broke up after 13 years. They were not married thus there was no messy divorce.

They have split up most quietly and cordially. They continue to be friends and co-parents to their two children together, Billy and Nell who are 11 and 7 respectively. This would however, will not be the end of their movie wise collaboration.
