Hope Solo suspended for a Month

The seasoned player Hope Solo has been suspended for 30 days from the US Women’s National Team (USWNT). That will hopefully be enough time for her to reconsider her motives.

The female goalkeeper Hope Solo has been given a temporary pink slip from play by the WNT. The 30 days time period she will be given to do some serious thinking on improving her conduct will be more than four weeks.

The reason behind this suspension is an occurrence that transpired at the training grounds in Carson, California. Due to this untoward incident, she is being suspended and she will most certainly miss attending the US matches in Europe.

The matches will get held in France and England respectively on the 8th and 13th of February, 2015. It was during training camp that Solo made a blunder that cost her career albeit temporarily.

Her act had a negative impact on women’s soccer. So Hope Solo was shown the door for awhile. U.S. Soccer has announced on Wednesday that it has suspended goalkeeper Hope Solo from the U.S. Women’s National Team for 30 days.

Hope Solo was also being disruptive in matters having to do with her colleagues. So it was in everyone’s best interest to let her cool off for the present. Solo will rejoin her usual status as a chief player in her team’s ranks after the 30 days are over.  

Hope Solo has had a mixed record so far. While she has won gold medals at the Olympics, she has also gotten in trouble with the law due to domestic conflicts. This time a similar incident led to her perfunctory dismissal although she later on apologized on Twitter.

Actually what had happened was that Solo’s husband had been driving under the influence and she meanwhile had been in the seat besides him when they entered the Californian territory where her team mates were practicing.

She later on said on her Facebook page that she needed to get away from it all and sort of just de-stress. She said that she was indeed sorry for the loss of control that had led to the suspension.

As far as her break from play was concerned, she would hopefully return refreshed and ready to take on her role as goalkeeper for her team. Earlier on she had charges dropped against her for assaulting two relatives in Seattle. T

his time though her lack of responsibility had gone too far. Someone could have been seriously hurt inside or outside that vehicle her husband was driving while drunk as a skunk. Hope Solo is now suspended for 30 days from US Women’s National Team and ske ought to be more careful in the future regarding her rash behavior.
