iOS 8 SMS Continuity Feature Will Be Available Next Month

With this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference came a myriad of new software features and one of the most prominent ones from these is the Continuity which is going to allow allow users to work between devices with as few seams as possible. Continuity makes use of both the OS X Yosemite as the well as iOS 8 and this is going to bring closer the two platforms closer and strengthen the SMS Continuity which means that the SMS and MMS messages can be managed through the Messages app on iPad and Mac and this is perhaps the most useful of all the features.

But the sad news is that the SMS Continuity feature will not be available before next month and there are only a few days left till the iOS 8 but the feature is not going to be there. To shed more light on the feature, the SMS Continuity is going to be like an iMessage-like infrastructure to messages which will not process through the iMessage. The instant messaging service of Apple came in with the introduction of the iOS 5 and because of its secure, convenient, and generally reliable nature it has been extremely popular. The ability to continue conversations on a Mac that began on an iPhone or iPad is quite useful but SMS Continuity is going to give Mac and iOS device owners the same Messages functionality as currently seen on the iPhone.
