iPhone 6S Force Touch and Faster RAM Rumored

iPhone 6S Force Touch and Faster RAM Rumored

New iPhone 6S rumors say that the iPhone 6S would have the same touch screen technology as the Apple Watch.

The iPhone 6S is expected to be released this Fall. It is expected that Apple follows the typical upgrade cycle and will leave the design of the next iPhone untouched, but improve performance. I would actually like to see two design changes, but I do not get my hopes up. The two big design flaws of the iPhone 6 are the hideous stripes in the back and the protruding camera.

On the performance improvement front, a new rumor says that the iPhone 6S would adopt LPDDR4 RAM and also double the RAM to 2GB. The LPDDR4 Ram uses less power and is faster. Taiwanese TechNews (via MacRumors) also reports that Apple is supposed to adopt Force Touch (touchscreen senses force of touch) the company introduces on the Apple Watch. This sounds like a big undertaking and it would require new screen technology. It is one thing to introduce Force Touch on a stamp sized display than on a 5-inch screen.

The Taiwanese report also mentions that the iPhone 6S would have a 10MP camera.

A couple hours ago we reported that Apple got a patent for a home button that transforms in a joystick for gaming. Anything is possible and at this point all iPhone 6S or iPhone 7 rumors are build on thin ice.
