iPhone 6S to come with iOS 9, 2GB LPDDR 4 RAM and Force Touch
  • New iPhone 6S to bring many new changes to iOS 9

After the success of iPhone 6, Apple is rumored to bring out iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.

It seems that Apple will now be adopting a new generation of memory. This Apple will start from its new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus by equipping them with 2GB of LPDDR4 based RAM. This compares to 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM in the current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Now what is so interesting about this change of memory in the iPhone? Well if you look at it from a hardware perspective DDR4 provides the users 32Gbps (gigabits per second) of bandwidth.

This is twice that of DDR3 RAM which is used in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus along with other premium smartphones such as the Galaxy S5, Note 4 and Nexus 6.

The Quicker RAM will allow the apps to launch more quickly especially the heavy apps and during extensive multitasking. Through this change of memory the speed and amount of the RAM will be doubled and Apple can quadruple current iPhone memory performance.

Moving on let’s see what is the change Apple is talking about the iOS. As the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are already extremely fast people will think why Apple needs this upgrade. The history of Apple suggests that Apple will not supercharge hardware for the sake of it or merely to brag alongside 2GB and 3GB Android phones.

If you remember the iOS 5 brought quite huge Cloud integration with the launch of iCloud, iMessage, wireless synchronization and overhauled notifications. Then there came the iOS 6 which basically just launched the Apple Maps. Then the iOS 7 was launched and then iOS 8 which offered tweaks and services which included Pay and Helathkit.

So if you look closely at the trend its tell us that one year Apple works on changing how the iOS works and the next is about adding new features and services on top of it. Now with the iOS 9 on the corner you should know that it will all be about how the iOS works, especially as it will be merging with OS X.

The current users of iPhone know that with the iOS 8 the phones run quite fast and there is no need for an upgrade yet. However by changing and moving to a RAM which is twice as fast in the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus it suggests that Apple is thinking of a major change.

Plus interesting information is that the new iPhone camera is going to have a huge change. According to some sources Apple is going to upgrade its next generation iPhone to a dual lens array.

With such new features and changes it seems that once the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus comes out it will be a match for no one. Well with these new changes I am very anxious for the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus to come out.
