Apple Incorporated has many iWatch designs in store for the eager people of the global village. Apple’s first smartwatch is likely to come this fall in various designs and sizes with over ten sensors to track health, fitness and more.

Apple wants to come out with novel designs of its smartwatch. The fall season has been chosen as the time when these new patterns of iWatches will get showcased to the avid public.

It is doing this in a bid to outdo its opponents which are none other than Samsung and Google. With over a dozen sensors, the wrist wearable smart watch will be able to offer health services and give fitness amenities to boot.

According to WSJ, “Apple showed its interest in health and fitness-tracking last month with a new app called Health, designed to collect all of a user’s fitness and health data in one spot. However, Apple didn’t introduce its own device to collect that data, fueling speculation that the company would unveil a sensor-laden wearable device at a later date.”

Many of the smartwatches by rivals do not offer as many facilities as Apple’s iWatches will. Apple’s smartwatches will start rolling off the Quanta Computer Incorporated supply lines by October. This company is a regular supplier of Apple. And Quanta will start trail runs for Apple’s smartwatch next month.

Various screen dimensions will figure among the new iWatches. And from 10 to 15 million units will come out of the production factories. “The exact specifications of Apple’s smartwatch are still being finalized before mass production starts,” said people familiar with the matter.

Tim Cook, the timid CEO of Apple, has said that new products lie in the pipeline and will appear by next year. But Apple has to hurry up to remain in the competition.

This is the age of the wearable. People who need to jog, walk or cycle and want to know their heart rate and blood pressure not to mention the number of calories burnt in the process will rely on them more and more as time passes.

The iPad is about half a decade old. And with the latest devices being these wearables which include smartwatches and glasses as well as bands, things are getting ready for an electronic revolution.

Google and Samsung are already giving Apple a lot of tension due to their plans and schemes. They are in on the wearable game and want to trump Apple in this regard.

Besides this, Nike’s FuelBand and Pebble’s smartwatch too are offering a lot of lip and they might overtake Apple one fine day. That is why the execs at Apple will have to stay on guard against any foreign competition.

“I expect Apple to launch multiple smartwatches that come with different designs as watches are fashion accessories. One design doesn’t fill all,” said KGI Securities analyst Ming-chi Kuo.

The world is a dog-eat-dog place where cutthroat rivalries can make mincemeat out of a company that doesn’t know how to defend its patents. Therefore, Apple will have to be very careful.
