Letters of legendary US first lady Jackie Kennedy surfaced in Ireland of all places. She had a 14-year correspondence with an Irish Priest.

There are still lots of treasures to be found around the world in archives. The Irish Times reports about a very special find. Letter from Jackie Kennedy to an Irish priest have been discovered revealing lots of unknown details about the wife of US President John F Kennedy.

The letters start before she became the first lady and ended a year after JFK’s assassination. The letters are going to be auctioned off next month.

Jackie Kennedy was born 1929 as Jacqueline Lee Bouvier. She was married to JFK from 1953 to 1963. Five years after the assassination of JFK she married Aristotle OnassisJacqueline Kennedy Onassis died in 1994 at the age of 64 in New York.
