Jamie Foxx was condemned on Twitter by many after he made a transphobic joke on Bruce Jenner at the iHeartRadio Music Awards

Jamie Foxx started hosting the 2nd Annual iHeartRadio music awards with a few jokes as per tradition for any award show host. The Oscar and Grammy winning artist looked to be in high spirits.

He joked about copyright infringement legal battle that ensued between Pharrell Williams, Robin Thicke and Marvin Gaye’s family; and the health of a famous 1990s record executive Suge Knight.

‘Marvin Gaye had the number one song, featuring Pharrell (Williams) and Robin Thicke’ was the set up line for the quip of the joke that Marvin Gaye got paid $7.4 million for making beats in heaven.

He also joked that Gaye might be dead but he’s not dead broke. It was of course based on the trial that Gaye family one after suing Pharrell Williams, Robin Thicke and distributors for infringements rights.

Death Row Records’ Marion “Suge” Knight was also made the butt of his jokes about his worsening medical conditions as he currently stood trial for murder. The musician’s bail was set at $25 million dollars.

Knight fainted on his way back and hit his head hard. Knight has been complaining about his health since he had been committed to the trial and has insisted on seeking proper medical health outside of prison.

The next celebrity to come under Jamie’s fire was Bruce Jenner. Jamie joked that the night’s performances would also include Bruce Jenner’s performance who would be singing a duet all by him/herself.

He added that he was busting Bruce’s balls while he still had them. Although he made the joke in fun, fans and viewers did not take to it lightly. Twitter was filled with condemning tweets over Jamie’s transphobic words for Bruce. iHeartRadio Music Awards were also condemned for allowing Jamie to crack such a joke.
