Jay-Z will sing Rare Songs at NYC Concert to promote TIDAL

Jay-Z will be throwing a free concert in NYC for TIDAL users exclusively!

Jay-Z recently announced he will perform for the first time in 10 years for TIDAL users exclusively. The concert will take place in New York City and only TIDAL subscribers will be able to attend the event.

The rapper will reportedly perform the some of his songs he has never before played onstage. The concert is entitled ‘Tidal X: Jay Z B-Sides’ and will take place at an unidentified but intimate venue in New York City on the 13th of May. 

Another bonus is the fact that tickets for the concert will be provided by the music streaming service platform of TIDAL only for FREE! However in order to win the exclusive tickets people need impress Jay-Z. How does one go about impressing a mega music mogul?

By making playlists on the rapper’s music streaming service TIDAL. The tickets are sort of a prize of a contest to be held on TIDAL, where subscribers can make playlists and share it on Twitter and anyone can enter in the race to win.

The playlists to be shared on Twitter need to have the hash tag #TIDALXJAYZ and the playlist will be judged on the basis of their diversity, genre and flow of the songs. The site says the songs don’t necessarily have to be Jay-Z’s and diversity is a must for the winner. 

TIDAL also provides a 30 day free membership option to all the subscribers, so anyone can enter the competition till the closing date on the 8th of May.  Subscribers have to simply log in to the TIDAL website and sign up as free members. Then after creating a playlist and posting it on Twitter with the #TIDALXJAYZ, subscribers have to fill the submission form provided by TIDAL.
