Cindy Crawford Instagram
The daughter of erstwhile supermodel Cindy Crawford trumped her mom in the game of monopoly.
Cindy Crawford is almost 50 year old. Yet her skin still glows like a radiant lamp from within. Recently, she posted a pic or two of herself with her 13 year old daughter Kaia Gerber, and the two look like the Austin Powers evil villain along with his small clone mini me.
There is such a striking resemblance to their physiognomies that it simply defies the imagination. Cindy’s daughter is super-smart as well, and she can be seen in the pic holding a couple of cards in her hand. Cindy has labelled the pic “just destroyed me in monopoly”.
However, it looks like Cindy is not very much concerned over her loss to the teenager. She is taking it lightly. She has a son too from her husband Rande Gerber. Cindy looked very relaxed and oozed positivity from every inch. How she manages to do so at such an age is a riddle wrapped in an enigma covered by a mystery.
Cindy revealed that she catches her Z’s, doesn’t touch cigarettes, drinks tons of H2O and generally does what makes her happy in life. That was all there was to it. She admits that she takes extra good care of her skin with all sorts of serum creams.
“I use SPF day cream every day, cleanser every day and night. I definitely use the night cream, eye cream and the Crème de Serum from my line,” 48-year-old actress said in a recent interview. “What I think is true is that [results are] cumulative. When a 35-year-old starts taking care of her skin, she won’t look different. It’s when you’re my age that you start seeing the payoff.”
But Cindy also says that it is at her age that the results begin to reveal themselves. Yet she doesn’t gaze obsessively in the mirror everyday since that is a losing game. It would only make her lose her self-confidence and self-esteem not to mention become very depressed.
“I don’t want to look in the mirror every day and be down on myself,” she said. “Look, I’m holding together pretty good, but I don’t look like I did when I was 25 or 30 or even 40. What I’m finding for myself is that if I continue to be engaged, to do what I love, that’s how I get my self-esteem cup filled.
Cindy says that she still has the support of her friends and family. They were the people who kept her grounded. And she still had a few odd modeling jobs that she did with zest and gusto. Her daughter Kaia saw a pic of her recently when she was very young and she noticed that her mom looked just like her. The two are very close to each other and make a perfect mother and daughter duo.
