Homeland Security will not risk Katy Perry’s costume to be worn during her Super Bowl half time performance!
US Homeland security is definitely evolving especially considering Katy Perry’s Super Bowl halftime performance costume is being scanned for security purposes. The purpose of the scanning is to remove any weapons of mass destruction from the costume.
During a conference when Perry was asked by reporters about her choice of costume for the performance, she described it as ‘Flaming Hot’. Can viewers expect the performance to be Scorching?!
Yes they definitely can! Both fans and Homeland Security will be on high alert concerning the costume until 1st February, when all will be revealed. Parents /4/have to be extra vigilant as Super Bowl performances are not known to be appropriate for children and especially with Perry’s costume generating such notoriety.

Recently ET’s Kevin Frazer was with Katy Perry at the Super Bowl press conference. Frazer was given the opportunity to start the conference with Perry. However Frazer and Perry decided to kick off the conference in their own unique way with a selfie rather than a question.
Other artists that will share the stage with Perry include Lenny Kravitz and Idina Menzel. Katy Perry’s performance on Super Bowl will also be an opportunity for her to promote several limited edition products to her fans. Perry will reveal the exclusive Perry-collectible items to her fans during her live performance. The Product pitch will be the first ‘Shopping-Enabled’ Super Bowl performance ever and is a partnership between Perry with Universal Music and Pepsi.
However the products pitch will not be promoted during the Super Bowl telecast but on the social media sites such as Twitter, YouTube, Shazam and other Samsung, Roku and LG internet TV devices. The purchase of the collectible items will only be available through the internet connected platforms mentioned above.
Katy Perry has 64.1 million followers on Twitter and 14.8 million subscribers on the YouTube Vevo channel for her videos. Such a large following already ensures sales of the custom merchandise.
