Kristen Bell Says Second Pregnancy is a Walk in the Park

Kristen Bell and her husband Dax Shepard are expecting their second child. The 34 year old actress who stars in the Frozen star said that her second pregnancy is like a walk in the park. The star told US Weekly that her current pregnancy is not different fom that of their first born, Lincoln who just turned 17 months.

Kristen said that she was lucky for not having experienced any complications like other women out there. She further added that the variations in pregnancies are highly dependent on hormones.The star is the spokesperson for Neutrogena Naturals and so she just had to walk the talk. In fact, Kristen had voluntarily declared that she would not be indulging in sugary stuff just before she got pregnant.

The star said that avoiding snacks was easier said than done because the story changed when she became pregnant. she soon found herself battling with her cravings for sugary foods but had to keep them at bay because that would be similar to preaching water and drinking wine. Both Kristin and Dax went for 30 days without sugary foods. The star stated that they tried eating some cakes and brownies at the end of the challenge but they were amazed to find that they did not taste as yummy as they used to.

Kristen said that she had completely switched to natural sugars to compensate for her cravings in snacks. Instead of eating cakes, the star now prefers to eat two apples and peaches which are equally sweeter. The actress argued that apples and peaches are good replacements for snacks because they contain fructose cone syrup.

When asked whether her little girl Lincoln is aware of her pregnancy, the actress said that she could be in the know but added that there is no guarantee because it’s not possible to read her mind. She further added that her daughter could be imagining that her mother is gaining weight. The star actually went ahead to describe how Lincoln has really grown and is now able to mumble a few words through sign language. According to Kristen, the little girl now uses between 40 and 50 signs to get her message home.
