The phone’s sales will officially start from March 13th

It has been a while since the LG G Flex 2 was unveiled at the CES event this year but many of us had been counting the days till we could get to the actually release date. To be honest the phone was a bit of a shocker for some with its smaller screen size offering due to the more pronounced curve but the brighter side is that LG has at least done its best to make up for it in the form of enhancing its resolution to full HD POLED panel. Apart from the shrinkage of the screen size we are pretty happy with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and 3000mAh battery.

The good news is that we have already made it to the pre-order point as confirmed by Sprint. The carrier announced the pre-order opening on Feb. 19 and the official sale starts from March 13th which isn’t that far away now. For now, there are two ways to get to your G Flex 2; you can either have it for a full retail payment of $504 or with Sprint’s Easy Pay payment plan for a $21 a month.

Michelle Leff Mermelstein, manager of wireless device communication at Sprint wrote “With Sprint Easy Pay, well-qualified buyers can purchase LG G Flex2 with $0 down, no finance fees and 24 easy monthly payments of $21.” She has also made it pretty clear that only the lucky Sprint customers will be able to buy the Volcano Red color offering in the G2 Flex.

Sprint is the official releases partner of the G Flex 2 but naturally everyone is expecting the phone to be launched on other major carriers too including AT&T and T-Mobile. Verizon on the other hand appears quite skeptical of the G Flex 2 at the moment and it might pass out on the opportunity considering there are some major announcements coming up for high end devices from Samsung and HTC and even LG. We are pretty much expecting the LG G Flex 2 to work it out this year as it continues to grow on the popularity scale.
