- LG G3 has just acquired its Lollipop and become even more popsier in the process.
LG has just announced the roll-out schedule of Android 5.0 Lollipop OS upgrade for its award winning LG G3 smartphone.
LG has just hit the sweet spot with its brand new Android 5.0 Lollipop OS for its G3 smartphone. This OS is particularly ideal for this brand of smart phone. LG spelled out the OS upgrade to its smart phone with a difference.
Aussie Land was the venue where this thing first started rolling on 23rd of January, 2015. Many think that the whole point of changing what is perfect is a stupid idea. But in fact it makes sense since there is always room for improvement.
Many new features arrive on the platform via the OS. The graphic design is just one of these transformations. And prompting and alarm systems are galore too.
Creative methods of security beefing up is a feature that cannot be ignored. And Android Runtime (ART) makes for quickness and speediness.
As for the previously available features they include: a high definition display screen, 13 mp camera with laser focus, a very ergonomic keyboard and of course superb and suave design.
With these pre-existing features being supplemented by the Operating System known as Lollipop, things will be looking up for the LG G3. It will be a smart phone that is for smart and savvy customers only.
On 23rd of January, LG G3 users will progressively receive automated notifications from LG to upgrade their software to Lollipop, if they wish. LG said that the rollout schedule is anticipated to be completed by the end of February 2015.
LG also explained some simple steps to check for new software availability for those customers who do not receive an automated notification or want to do a manual check of the available new software. These steps are given below:
From the home screen:
> Select ‘Apps’ icon
>> Select ‘Settings’
>> Select ‘General’ tab at the top of the screen
>> Scroll down and select ‘About Phone’ menu option
>> Select ‘Update Centre’
>> Select ‘Soft’ware Updates’
From this menu the user can see and select the Lollipop software upgrade.
LG also advised G3 owners to download the Android 5.0 Lollipop update when their smartphone batteries are fully charges or plugged into power because the download file is heavy and it needs more time. LG also advised the G3 owners to download the update over Wi-Fi.
