LG Electronics (LG) has announced that it will unveil its new 21:9 UltraWide monitor lineup globally at the International CES 2015 in Las Vegas next week. This is going to be the world’s first UltraWide monitor that will be compatible with AMD FreeSync technology for fluid motion during fast gameplay.
This new technology is based on IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly PC Monitor Tracker plus LG has been the world sales leader in this specific monitor segment over the last seven fiscal quarters which includes a market share of 77.3 percent of the world’s 21:9 monitors.
LG 34UM67 is the company’s first 21:9 UltraWide Gaming Monitor with AMD FreeSync Technology. The monitor has been specifically developed for graphics-intensive gaming. Moreover AMD’s FreeSync technology rids the screen tearing that occurs when the monitor and graphics card are out of sync.
This FreeSync technology even provides a smoother gaming experience to the gamers as it’s generates fluid motion and even minimizes motion blur. Roy Taylor the corporate vice president of ISV/IHV Partner Group, AMD stated that the AMD FreeSync technology is an innovative monitor technology and it has been based on free and open industry standards.
He explained that the technology helps in eliminating the tearing and stuttering that has damaged PC gaming for 30 years. Roy further commented that they were satisfied and happy that LG Electronics chose them and came out with the LG UltraWide Gaming Monitor with AMD FreeSync. Plus popular games such as World of Warcraft and Battlefield 4 support 21:9 resolution and in the future more games will do so.
LG has also come up with a curved 34 inch UltraWide Monitor in Quad HD resolution. Model 34UC97 has a resolution of 3440 x 1440 and this screen makes maximum use of screen real estate. This screen allows creative professionals such as photographers and graphic designers to look at more images as thumbnails.
The curved display is also very useful for the gamers in their gaming experience. This display has a 178-degree viewing angle of the In-Plane Switching (IPS) display which basically recreates colors over 99 percent of the sRGBcolor space. This way the users experience no color distortion at wide angles.
Then there is the LG 21:9 Curved UltraWide Multi-Display which provides various multiple display set-up options. This raises the productivity levels for stock traders and other business professionals who need to keep in view large amounts of data at the same time. This display can be used in numerous of ways such as used for setting up a trading station. So it seems that LG has kept in consideration everyone from gamers to businessmen to media personals.

This display by LG will be featuring 4K resolution (4096 x 2160) and this means it has more pixels than a normal Ultra HD resolution. Plus the display has nearly over 99.5 percent Adobe Color Space and so the display becomes the ideal monitor for accurate color management.
