Hollywood can be full of surprises sometimes. Matt Damon is coming back again to play Jason Bourne.

Matt Damon is Jason Bourne Again
The the super cool Jason Bourne Trilogy has been followed up with the Bourne Legacy in 2012 starring Jeremy Renner. The Bourne Legacy was not bad either. The plan was that next would be a Bourne Legacy 2 with Renner. Hollywood has though a better idea. Deadline reports exclusively that Matt Damon is coming back to play Jason Bourne.
The new Jason Bourne movie would be released in July of 2016. This was the slot the new Bourne Legacy movie, currently in production, would have got.
Direct Paul Greengrass will also be back for the new Bourne movie. Universal is supposed to make the deals right now. The story of the new Bourne 4 movie is totally unclear at this point. The last Bourne movie was The Bourne Ultimatum released in 2007.
I was a big fan of the Jason Bourne Trilogy. I totally look forward to the new Bourne movie.
