Meizu's Upcoming MX5 would Feature a Fingerprint Sensor

MX5 is going to feature a fingerprint sensor similar to the one on the M1 Note 2

Meizu’s upcoming MX5 handset has been on the rumor-mill since quite some time now. It was finally confirmed after it was announced that Meizu has two big events planned for the month of June and one if these events will be dedicated to the unveiling of the MX5 phone while the other will be for the M1 Note 2 FHD edition. Following this confirmation, more details have emerged on the horizon regarding the handset.

One of the rumors suggests that the MX5 is going to feature a fingerprint sensor similar to the one on the M1 Note 2. Meizu is taking its game one step ahead with a metal body for the MX5 as opposed to the cheaper/lighter ones used on the previous generation phones.

On the other hand, things for the M1 Note 2 FHD edition are expected to remain pretty much the same. Its design and size is going to be the same as that of the M1 Note and some of the specs including MT6752 and 2GB RAM are going to remain the same. So the presence of the fingerprint sensor is the most major and prominent change on the Note including a few other minor changes.

So far we are expecting the M1 Note 2 to release on June 2nd while the MX5 phone will be released on June 30th during a separate event.
