Paul Walker died last year on Thanksgiving. Paul’s father, fellow actors and many others pay tribute to the actor on his first death anniversary.
It has been a year now that we lost Paul Walker. Born on 12th September 1973 in California, he started his career by guest appearances in television shows such as ‘Touched by an Angel’. It was not until 2001 that Paul received international fame and recognition. This was due to the role he played as Brian O’Connor, one of the lead characters in the famous racing movie ‘The Fast and the Furious’.
Paul went on to play as Brian O’Connor in the sequels too. Apart from being the handsome cop turned racer, Paul also had a charity ‘Reach Out Worldwide’, which provides relief and help to people affected by natural disasters.
However this young actor was taken away from us last year, on November 30th 2013. Walker and his friend had an accident; the car had crashed into a concrete pole after which the vehicle caught fire. It was a tragic day for all his fans, friends and family. The death came as a shock to everyone.
On this Thanksgiving, it has been one whole year since we lost him. And so friends, fans, family and fellow actors paid tribute to Paul Walker on social media. We saw Facebook statuses and tweets on Twitter by Walker’s friends. Michelle Rodriguez who is Paul’s Fast and Furious co-star paid a tribute to him on her Twitter account.
She was all praises for him and expressed that everyone loved him and still remembers him. Michelle also showed her support for Paul’s charity ‘Reach Out Worldwide’. Michelle was not over just by one tweet.

She also expressed her love for Paul by posting a picture of him on her Instagram account. The picture with more than sixty thousand likes depicted Paul as an angel, with pure white wings attached to his back. Paul is seen wearing a suit and as usual looks stunning.
Tyrese Gibson who is also Paul’s co-star from the ‘Fast and Furious’, posted a picture of Paul on his Facebook account along with a long message. He wrote that he misses his friend, he misses his star and that although Paul is gone from this world he will be remembered in our hearts forever.
Vin Diesel who played as Paul’s brother-in-law in the ‘Fast and Furious’ also posted a picture of his daughter and Paul on Facebook. Diesel expressed his love for Paul and that he was just like a family member. Diesel explained the important role of Paul in his life and wrote that they all miss him.
These tributes just bring Paul back to life and make us miss him even more. In an interview with E! News Paul’s father also revealed that he still sees Paul’s face every day. Paul’s father explained that he misses talking to his son and having him around. His father also explained that he visits the crash site often. It must be so difficult for his father to lose a son in such an early age.
It is hard for all of us; no one had expected the sudden demise of Paul from our lives. We miss you Paul, /4/you rest in peace!
