- Microsoft collaborating with 20 major tablet companies to pre-load Microsoft Office app!
Microsoft will be joining hands with 20 more tablet and other hand-held device makers to pre-install Office app for customer convenience.
Microsoft recently released news about its partnership with 20 major tablet makers allowing the Office app to be already downloaded on the tablets. According to Microsoft their aspiration is to build a community which relies on Microsoft apps to use devices in all aspects of their lives.
Microsoft declared in an official blog that they have been rebuilding their most popular services such as the office app to provide access over a wide range of platforms and devices than before.
In March Microsoft allowed 11 tablets brands or manufacturers to pre-download their Office app on their tablets for easier access to customers. Microsoft entered agreements with brands such as Samsung, Pegatron, Dell etc. and now it has also entered into affiliation with 20 more tablet manufacturers and has totalled its association for pre-loading of office with 30 brands.
Tablets or devices by companies such as LG, Sony, Haier, Positivo, Wortman etc. will also have the Microsoft Office app pre-loaded on their devices after the next 90 days. Features of the Microsoft Office app such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive and Skype will already be installed in devices such as Xperia Z4.
Such assistance by Microsoft will allow the users to easily carry out their work on their hand held devices in the future. The move will allow customers to experience innovation on every device from any manufacturer they have access to in any part of the world.
The partnership will also benefit the manufacturers by increasing the value of their devices and services in the Android market. Microsoft even declared they wish to expand their collaborations for more apps and other partners very soon.
