Miley Cyrus gets NBC Documentary

Miley Cyrus fans take note. NBC will feature the controversial artist in a documentary next month.

Miley Cyrus has become a controversial performer with her antics and provocative outfits and gestures. She is though mega successful doing it. Now NBC announced to feature Miley Cyrus in a documentary with an unprecedented behind-the-scenes insight.

The two-hour Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour on Sunday, July 6 from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT.

The Miley Cyrus special will focus on the singer’s concerts from the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain and MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.

“There are few recording artists with the global success achieved by Miley Cyrus,” said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment. “This unique special will offer an exclusive peek on how she engages with her crew and fans at one of her hugely popular concerts.” 

The latest Miley Cyrus album Bangerz was released in October and has gone platinum. Her single from the album, Wrecking Ball reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. 

Miley Cyrus has sold more than 12 million albums and 20 million tracks in the United States alone. Watch the scandalous Wrecking Ball video below.
