Miranda Lambert nominated for 9 CMA Awards this Year

The country music singer Miranda Lambert is on her 2014 Platinum Tour these days which started in July. Just before the end of her tour on September 20th, in Honolulu, Hawaii, the superstar showed her soft heart to the world in her second last performance of the tour at American Bank Centre in Corpus Cristi on Saturday, September 13th, 2014.

It all started when Lambert saw a girl younger than her other fans in the crowd. The girl’s name is Brooke Hester and she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer in 2010. She is fighting its fourth stage these days.

Hester had her head covered with a cow girl hat and was wearing a mask to protect her against germs, when Lambert noticed her near the stage. Lambert bent down and burst into tears while holding her hand.

Miranda Lambert tried to keep herself from being emotional and kept wiping her tears while holding the microphone out to the audience at the song’s finish.

It is important to mention the fact that we are talking here about Miranda Lambert, who is up for 9 CMA Awards in 7 categories. She and her husband Blake Shelton are the reigning Female Vocalist and reigning Male Vocalist of CMA respectively.

Another notable occurrence is Lambert’s number of nominations since 2010. Miranda Lambert, her husband Blake Shelton and Keith Urban are up for multiple 2014 CMA Awards.

The CMA Awards of 2014 are drawing near and these three are slated to take the stage on Country Music’s greatest night on November 5th, 2014. Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban are nominated for nine, three and four CMA Awards respectively in 2014.

ABC will air live 48th annual CMA Awards from Nashville at 8PM ET on November 5. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will host the event again this year.

Meanwhile, It is highly appreciable for a superstar of this stature to have such a soft heart.  We wish Miranda Lambert very good luck for her nominations.
