It’s no secret that web developers are loving Mozilla‘s free and open-source web browser for its set of tools that make web designing a breeze. While some will argue that Google Chrome is far better, it’s really just a matter of preference. But Mozilla is trying to settle the score by launching what can be regarded as the world’s first web browser for developers.
In a statement, Mozilla said that its developer-focused web browser will carry its popular developer tools right from the box. Specifically, the new browser will feature a redesigned interface that now integrates powerful tools like WebIDE and the Firefox Tools Adapter.
Mozilla plans to add more features in the future. Interested developers can learn more about Mozilla’s new browser on November 10, the same day Firefox will celebrate its 10th anniversary.
“When building for the Web, developers tend to use a myriad of different tools which often don’t work well together. This means you end up switching between different tools, platforms and browsers which can slow you down and make you less productive,” Mozilla said. “So we decided to unleash our developer tools team on the entire browser to see how we could make your lives easier.”
