MS Office 2016 Public Preview Now Available for Download

It’s been a couple of years since the last MS Office was released and now the MS Office 2016 is available for download.

Microsoft Office 2013 was last product Microsoft released. Now they have been working on a new Office product and it is called the MS Office 2016. This product’s preview version is now available for download.

The preview version is basically a version with which the user can see what the product would look like. It is not the final build of the product and some users will find the product crashing from time after time.

The company will release the final stable build of the product in the coming months. When Microsoft started MS Office 2013, they started their new cloud based service called the Office 365.

Users had to subscribe for this service. Now the Office 365 subscribers will get the option to download the preview version of the latest Microsoft Office product. Redmond have been making this product and they say that they will allow real-time editing/co-authoring in this new Office product.

Microsoft gave a confirmation of this feature to The Verge and said that the new feature will be added to the Microsoft Word. PowerPoint and Excel will also get the support for the feature after some time.

Redmond are also planning to bring the co-authoring feature to the Android and iOS apps. This new public preview of Office 2016 is supported by Windows 7, 8 and Windows 10 PCs. You have to remember just one thing while installing this Office product which is you will need to uninstall Office 2013 because both of the products cannot work together at the same time.

Some reports suggest that the new Microsoft Office 2016 stable build will be available in the fall of 2015. The preview version was made available by Microsoft to the IT professionals and developers back in March. People who have used the preview version of the product claim that there are some new features that can be found in the new Office.
