Neelys Divorce: Chefs End Marriage

The husband and wife chefs who host Down Home with The Neely’s have finally decided to end their marriage. The marriage between the two hosts, Gina Neely and Pat Neely has lasted for approximately 19 years. It is actually Gina who requested for divorce through the court.

According toTMZ, the couple has been under separation for the last two years. The couple was quite smart in covering their separation because no one could tell they were not together during their show that enjoys a wide following. They continued to feature in the same set despite their separation.

Gina and Pat have two lovely daughters. Fortunately for Pat, the two girls are older than 18 years and so he won’t have to worry about paying for their upkeep. Though Gina did not disclose the exact reason for their divorce, she pointed out that the issues at hand could only be solved by parting ways.

Concerning their barbeque restaurant in New York, the couple said that the food joint will not be affected by their divorce because they will manage it together. The couple further added that each of them has unique brands that they will continue to promote independently.

The two TV chefs started dating while they were still in high school. In a joint press statement, the couple requested their fans to remember them in their prayers. They further added that it was not easy to make such a decision considering that they have been together for many years.
