Nintendo has decided that it will close its Club Nintendo Rewards Program. Moreover another Loyalty Program by Nintendo will be kicked off at a later stage.
It is has been nearly six years that Nintendo delivered fun rewards to its members. However in a shocking move Nintendo has finally decided to close its Club Nintendo.
The Loyalty rewards program that was started by Nintendo basically rewarded members with a range of different items which included downloadable games, Nintendo character figures or posters.
These were given out to members in exchange for coins that members then earned by registering products or completing surveys. Even though the Club Nintendo is closing it will provide its members in Canada and the United States to earn additional coins through the end of March and can even redeem the earned coins through the end of June.
Moreover, the happy news is that the American Nintendo users will be experiencing a new customer loyalty program pretty soon.
Scott Moffitt the executive vice president of Sales and Marketing of Nintendo America stated that the company thanked all of the Club Nintendo members for their support and dedication to Nintendo games and their ongoing love for the systems and characters of Nintendo.
Scott further stated that the company wants to make this time of transition very easy for the dedicated and loyal Club Nintendo members and that is the sole reason that the company is going to add dozens of new rewards and downloadable games to help members clear out their Coin balances.
Moreover Nintendo will also be adding a variety of physical reward options for their members in February. Plus the Nintendo lovers will also get a chance to choose from a lineup of many new downloadable games.
Nintendo will also be providing its loyal and dedicated Club Nintendo members with the Flipnote Studio 3D software as a gift and the download of the software will be available free in February.
Now this new software will allow the users to create a unique three dimensional animations and to exchange their creations through local wireless with others who will also have a Flipnote Studio 3D.
This Flipnote Studio 3D will be available to the Club Nintendo members until June 30th. However the ability to develop and create a new Club Nintendo account will end on March 31st.
So all those people who register to the Club Nintendo before registration closes will be able to receive the Flipnote Studio 3D. So all Nintendo lovers out there get going and quickly register yourself for the Club Nintendo.
