The Galaxy Tab Nook is available now at Barnes and Noble stores, Barnes and Noble’s website, and Nook’s website.

You are in for some good news if you had been waiting for a Nook tablet because Samsung presents its Galaxy Tab 4 Nook. This appears to be the first Nook tablet since the Glowlight and this makes it the first Nook tab after Barnes and Noble officially gave up on the project. This new Samsung branded Nook is a Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 in every way. Talking about the features, the tab sports a 7-inch 1280 x 800 LCD screen. It is powered by the 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, and runs on the latest Android 4.4 (Kit Kat) with a slathering of Samsung’s TouchWiz skin on top.

And now what you all had been waiting to hear; it is obviously layered with a tinge of Nook software as well and the first thing that comes to our mind is the Nook app which would allow us to buy stuff from the Nook store. There is also a lot of free stuff that comes with the Nook Tablet to get you started so get ready to enjoy an episode of HBO’s Veep, an ebook copy ofFreakonomics, and four 14-day trials of an assortment of magazines and top this all with a little Nook credit as well. The tab can be found at Barnes and Noble stores, Barnes and Noble’s website, and Nook’s website for a starting price of $200.
