Digital dash has three modes

Lamborghini has already offered up all the specs on its sexy new exotic sports car called the Huracan. The Huracan is the replacement for the most popular model that Lamborghini ever produced, the Gallardo. The Huracan has a V10 engine producing over 600 hp.

One of the coolest features of the Huracan isn’t under the hood; it’s in the center of the dash. The car has a LCD in the center of the steering wheel that displays virtual gauges reports CNET. Those virtual gauges are shown on a 12.3-inch TFT display that is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 30 chip.

The screen has a resolution of 1440 x 540 and the chip is fast enough to let the graphics flow at 60fps. That means that the virtual tach can smoothly keep up with the engine. The virtual instrument cluster has three modes. Full Drive mode gives a virtual analog tach along with smaller displays for fuel level and temperatures.

Mixed mode replaces some of those gauges with a navigation screen. Full Nav mode fills most of the screen with navigation details. It’s unclear if the LCD is touch sensitive. It can also show other gauges and climate controls. The Huracan is certainly all exotic on the inside and out with Nappa leather, Alcantara and full LED lighting for every aspect of the car.
