The app lets you play music quickly and check music notifications

Pandora’s official statement reveals that its Apple Watch app is going to be ready for the April 24th launch however the app is going to have a few limitations in its functionality upon launch. The app on the watch will basically only serve as a remote control for the parent app which runs on the iPhone.

Pandora CTO Chris Martin recently posted in the blog saying that “The Apple Watch represents another opportunity for Pandora to be available anytime and anywhere to our more than 81.5 million monthly users in order to deliver the most personalized music experience ever while also making discovery as effortless as possible.”

Though the app has limited functionality, it will help you get things started quickly. Want to listen to some music? The command for that is only a touch away and right there on your wrist. The Pandora app is also pretty handy during workouts and running as a quick glance at the ‘Now Playing’ shows you which artist Pandora is going to stream for you.

Also no need to pull out your phone every time you want to adjust the volume and you can also easily access your music notifications. According to Martin, Pandora is “always on the lookout for the devices that are going to be immensely popular, and we feel that the Apple Watch marks another occasion to provide the best lean-back music experience.”
