Desktop 10 brings Support For OS X Yosemite, iCloud Drive and more

When it comes to dealing with hardware virtualization, there is no doubt about the reputation of Parallels which remains to be the biggest player on the Mac. In this era where user friendliness pays a vital role in the ease and comfort of technology, it can be a pretty powerful thing to be able to use both Mac and elements of Windows when needed. This is particularly helpful in cases where you have already developed apps which are for the Microsoft platform or want to use apps which don’t yet have any Mac version.

Though some Apple fans wouldn’t like to agree to this, but it’s the truth that sometimes you just need Windows to get things going and we are glad that Parallel knows just that. We already know that the shipment for OS X 10.10 Yosemite is on Apple’s agenda and it is going to come soon enough and following that, Parallel has already announced the Parallels Desktop 10. The existing customers can already benefit from it and the new users will just have to wait till August 26th. The Parallels Desktop 10 is equipped with fresh new features which will be based around Apple’s OS.

One of the most prominent aspects of the new features include the Yosemite integration which seems to appear at the forefront of Parallels Desktop 10 and the app’s change log is littered with references to Apple’s next big thing. You will find all kinds of “big” features on it including support for Yosemite’s iPhone telephone calling and the highly anticipated iCloud Drive. a new Control Center has also been added which allows the management of virtual machines and their settings.
