The Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage is one of the people amongst others to lend his voice to the upcoming Angry Birds movie.
Peter Dinklage to Play the Voice of an Eagle in Angry Birds Movie
Peter Dinklage, Maya Rudolph, and Jason Sudeikis are going to lend their voices to the upcoming Angry Birds Movie. The Game of Thrones actor and The Saturday Night Live alums are listed amongst the actors lending their voices to this animated film.
Jason Sudeikis will be leading the voice as a redhead from the flock of Angry Birds. And Peter Dinklage will be lending his voice as an eagle in the movie. This movie is based on the popular Angry Birds game by Rovio.
Other actors joining the flock include Bill Harder and Kate McKinnon, who are fellow SNL vets. Frozen’s Josh Gad will also join the voice cast. Amongst others will be Ike Barinholtz from Eastbound & Down’s Danny McBride as well as the Mindy Project’s. Veeps Tony Hale will also join the cast.
Other voice cast for the Angry Birds movie include Keegan-Michael Key from Key and Peele’s, Danielle Brooks from Orange is the New Black, Jillian Bell from Workaholic’s, and Hannibal Buress from Broad City. However, the roles for which they will be lending their voices, have not been made public yet.
Producer John Cohen told THR that, he is proud of his cast, and excited to work with them. He said, not only do they have Josh, Danny, Bill, Maya, and Peter who will bring these birds to life but his team is full of people with lots of comedic talent.
They are the funniest people out there. Speaking on the behalf of his team he said, they are extremely thrilled to have them on their team.
The Angry Birds Movie is an adaptation of the Angry Birds game. Their fan following is two and a half billion gamers around the world. The Angry Birds brand will attract a massive crowd towards the theaters.
The film-makers are cooking up a hilarious comedy movie for all the fans out there. Everyone will have to wait and see how they will bring the Angry Birds story to life on the big screen. The movie is expected to come to the theaters in 2016.
