Rob Gronkowski tweeted the explanation why the ball deflated during the Championship game between Patriots and Colts.

Cronking /4/Case deflation says Rob Gronkowski on Twitter. The Tweet show him smash a football in the ground with dirt flying up about 10-inches after impact. See the hilarious tweet below. 

Gronkowski’s Tweet has already been retweeted 22,000 times within just 9 hours. 

The NFL has said on Monday to investigate the incident of the deflated ball during the AFC championship game between Patriots and Colts. The Patriots have advanced to the Super Bowl game. The #DeflateGate charges are that the Patriots would have intentionally deflated balls to make it easier to catch.
