Rolling Stones has announced its new tour of USA. The band is all set to reissue ‘Sticky Fingers’ and embark on the 15-city Zip Code tour this summer.

Finally the Rolling Stones will be returning to US stadiums this summer for the 15 city Zip Code tour. The tour is all set to kick off from /4/24th at San Diego’s Petco Park and will then end on 15th of July at Quebec’s Le Festival D’Été de Quebec. The tour name basically plays off the jeans focused cover of the group’s classic 1971 album, Sticky Fingers, which the band will be reissuing in a deluxe format on /4/26th.

The band will be playing its all-time hits. The last time the group toured the US stadiums was 8 years ago in 2007. The group has made it clear that it plans on elevating its stadium performances with a stage that will extend deep into the crowd along with video screens and special effects. The sale of tickets for US shows will start from April 13th while the Quebec date show goes on sale from April 11th.

Mick Jagger stated that the whole group is very excited to be back in North America this summer for its performances. He also stated that the group is looking forward to being onstage and playing everyone’s favorite songs. He said that the whole group loved to be out on the road and it is really great once again be back in the U.S and the group just can’t wait to be back on the stage.

According to sources the deluxe issue of Stick fingers which is home to some amazing tracks such as ‘Brown sugar’ ‘Wild Horses’ and ‘Bitch’ will be released in a number of different formats. Apart from this the group is also considering to play previously unreleased Stones audio outtakes from the albums sessions for the release along with live recordings from the time.

This show also marks the band’s first North American dates since concluding their 50 & counting run in 2013 and since then the Rolling Stones has played various concerts in Europe, Australia and Asia.

Some of these shows had been rescheduled due to the death of Jagger’s girlfriend last March. At that time the whole group collectively had decided to postpone their performances in order for Jagger to mourn. Each of the band members had released their own statements in order to show support for the singer. The band had postponed its Australian tour at that time.

After this sad incident the group was to be seen playing for a gig in Oslo. At this show the group had played the Steel Wheels tune ‘Can’t be seen’. Moreover the death of the group’s longtime saxophonist Bobby Keys has also caused problems for the group. Bobby Keys had played with the Rolling Stones on its Let It Bleed, Sticky fingers and Exile. This upcoming tour to the US by the band will be its first without Keys.
