The video reviews some amazing features on the phones including the unique glowing strip

Up till March 1st, the Samsung Galaxy S6 was leaked extensively and Samsung was having quite some fun with the rumors and leaks surrounding the internet but now the hinting tits and bits have taken a different turn after the smartphone was officially unveiled last week. The Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge will be available in April and only a month left for that, Samsung has posted a new video on its Youtube channel which shows the packaged versions of the phones and also a brief look at the unboxing.

We have already seen what the two variants look like and quite honestly we find these to be the most intriguing designs and the construction is totally out of this world. Up until now, the iPhone 6 had been the most beautiful of the handsets available in the market but now it seems as if Samsung has taken the lead in this regard. Some have even accused Samsung of copying the design from Apple but even if they have, they have done the job better than Apple. The more luxury looking packaging with the faux-wood boxes has been ditched and Samsung has instead opted for simpler looking white boxes. A quick unboxing of both the variants is followed by a preview which shows the edge-swiping features of the S6 Edge including the ‘People Edge’. The videos we have previously seen didn’t include this unique feature in which the curved edge of the phone plays the role of a glowing strip for incoming notifications when it placed face down on a surface.

The video further sheds some light on the Aluminum 6013 frame of the phone which is impervious to bending. The appearance of the phone has further been accentuated by the Gorilla Glass on the back of the phone which gives off different colors in different lighting shades.
